Our story
10 years ago, David & Nicky with pub dog Honey purchased the Bell Inn and over those years have sympathetically refurbished and operated the Bell Inn, sadly Honey has gone and we now have Belle who is 5 years old.
We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere, quality home made food and drink, and comfortable accommodations.
We have one 7kw EV charging point suitable for overnight guests to achieve a full recharge.
We also welcome overnight motor home stays (NO Elsan point OR water, 1 electric hook up) on our riverside car park, £10 deposit refunded against any purchase.
The pub is available for private hire for events such as Wakes, Christenings, Parties and small Weddings.

A group of us stopped off here on our way home travelling from Longleat to Portsmouth. 5 adults and 2 children, one of our party has a lot of allergies, which usually means eating out is difficult. However we were pleased that Nicky explained the options and discussed with David what could be tailored to suit our needs,
All food was lovely and freshly cooked, it made a change for the member of our party with allergies to be able to eat out so she was very pleased. Very friendly and accommodating for children too,
A great little pub definitely recommend.

Two pensioners travelling from West Sussex, this is a lovely stop to rest for the night, what we both enjoyed the most was David did freshly cooked food, I had Fisherman's Pie and of course it would be impolite not to have a glass or two of wine. we were so pleased we booked for our return journey, as the position is good to continue to and from Devon, we enjoyed Salisbury prior to arriving at 4pm enjoying the garden prior to ordering our meal. We met a charming local gentleman and what was nice to learn that the art of conversation is alive and we;;. Thank you and we would definitely book again.
