Excellent stop-over in the right place at the right price The Bell provided exactly what I wanted ie an overnight stay on my way to a family event. The room was warm, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. The Bell provided a simple evening meal and a continental breakfast, which suited me. Nov 2023

Very comfortable stay for a couple of nights while we waiting to move in to our new house. The rooms were clean and the pub was cosy and inviting. Shame that more people don't take the trouble to drop in. The food cooked fresh by the talented owner, was fantastic and good value too. Drinks were reasonable and the beer well kept. 100pct recommend!" Oct 2022

"Another value for money Sunday lunch
My wife and I booked a table at very short notice at this historic Inn and were given a very pleasant welcome reception by Nicky who immediately offered us a well-situated reserved table and even a tasty treat for our dog Millie. We remembered our previous Sunday lunch and were equally delighted at the generous portions, including an amazing variety of freshly cooked vegetables. For pudding, we enjoyed David's homemade rhubarb and strawberry crumble with custard and left feeling fully satisfied. Will we be back? We certainly hope so in the very near future!" April 2022

We had a very warm and friendly welcome and were seated at our table. Fully Covid-19 prepared, signage and safety for all is obvious and carefully done.
